The school year is over but HJT is busy with work week as faculty and students work together to prepare the costume and scene shop for the 2014-2015 season. Robin Smasne has all of the sewing machines serviced and Devin Peterson and Nicky Khor (class of 2014) load the shop truck.

This year we bid farewell to Devin who served HJT this year as the Assistant Technical Director. He leaves Whitman and Walla Walla and heads to New York City where he will enroll in New York University’s Scenic Design for Stage and Film MFA program. Audiences caught a glimpse of Devin’s talent for scenic design in the 2013 HJT production of Ukulele! A Variety Show.
