The Final Push Before Opening Night

Groundnut Stew - Bryan Semonsen
3 weeks sure go by quick. So hey, why not have a bit of fun along the way? Bryan Semonsen of Groundnut Stew. Written by Tino Mori; directed by Andrew Schoenborn.

Just 3 weeks ago, directors held auditions for the One Act Play Contest. In that short time span, three plays have come together after they were initially conceived in the Fall by writers Sam Gelband, Tino Mori, and Sam Chapman. Tonight marks each play’s world premiere!

Through all the scavenging and editing, the memorizing and re-focusing, the Student One Acts have each developed into energetic creations, each brandishing life in their own unique way. Join us for the One Act Play Contest! At the end of each night, vote for your favorite First Place will receive $150, Second Place will receive $100 and Third Place will receive $50.
