Tara McCulloch, Worth Our Wait

Tara is a third-year Gender Studies and Film/Media Studies double major. Worth Our Wait is the product of her overactive imagination and insomniac tendencies. To experience more of her work, come to a staged reading of her play Until Death Do Us Part (working title) in early May.

 

Drew Schoenborn, boating school

Drew is a Junior Theatre major with a Gender Studies minor and is very involved in the Drama department here at Whitman College. In writing this play, Drew wanted to explore the dynamics of a friendship that is struggling to find a compromise of their own individual desires. Drew also wanted to write a musical that had no unnecessary dance numbers. So boating school. is the fusion of those two ideas.

 

Troy Warwick, The Incredible True Story of Corn Dog Millionaire

Hello folks. My name is Troy and I am a senior biology major. I hope you enjoy The Incredible True Story of Corn Dog Millionaire, as this play is a collection of short stories gathered from years in the field and months of online research, exploring the post-Marxist themes of early rural futurism. This play is very personal to me because everything in this play happened to me in real life, and it is very true and good. Thank you. Now as they say in theater, “let the show begin!”
